Emmett Jones Commits to UW-Eau Claire

Commitment Spotlight: Emmett Jones

Emmett reached out to us going into his senior year of high school after starting all three years on varsity since he was a freshman and also being a back to back all conference selection as a sophomore and a junior. Despite this, Emmett had received limited attention from high level programs.

This was a situation where talent was not the issue, but instead lack of exposure. We were able to generate a social media post for him that gave him immediate attention from college baseball coaches around the country that exceeded over 5K views. Not only this but just his second day in our program received his first D2 offer.

Emmett would ultimately commit to a school in arguably the best D3 conference in the country, the WIAC, with D1 level facilities, the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Emmett will make an immediate impact for the BlueGolds at the plate and on the mound.

“The talent was there. The exposure changed everything.”

Emmett connected with GameTime Baseball heading into his senior year after starting on varsity all three seasons of his high school career. A back-to-back All-Conference selection as both a sophomore and junior, Emmett had consistently performed at a high level. Despite his production and experience, he had received limited attention from college programs—proof that ability alone doesn’t always lead to opportunity.

After evaluating Emmett’s profile, it was clear the issue wasn’t talent—it was exposure. We immediately implemented a targeted recruiting strategy, starting with a professionally designed social media recruiting post. The response was instant, generating over 5,000 views from college coaches across the country and putting Emmett firmly on recruiting radars.

Within just two days of joining our program, Emmett received his first Division II offer, confirming the level of interest once coaches were able to see him in the proper context. After careful consideration, Emmett ultimately committed to the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, a member of the WIAC—widely regarded as one of the strongest Division III conferences in the country, featuring Division I–level facilities and competition.

Emmett’s versatility at the plate and on the mound positions him to make an immediate impact for the Blue Golds. His recruitment is a prime example of how the right exposure and advocacy can unlock opportunities quickly—even for players who have already proven themselves on the field.
